By accessing or using PicNexa ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

picnexa provides a suite of free, browser-based image processing tools including but not limited to: image format conversion (PNG, JPG, WEBP, AVIF, HEIC), image compression, resizing, cropping, background removal, watermarking, favicon generation, SVG vectorization, PDF editing, resume building, and cover letter creation. All image processing is performed locally in your web browser. PicNexa does not operate image processing servers. Files processed through PicNexa tools are never transmitted to or stored on our infrastructure.

picnexa is provided free of charge. No account, email address, or registration of any kind is required to use any tool on PicNexa. We reserve the right to introduce optional premium features in the future, but all current tools will remain free. Access to the Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access and may modify or discontinue tools at any time without notice.

You agree to use PicNexa only for lawful purposes. You must not: • Upload, process, or generate images that are illegal, obscene, defamatory, or infringe on any third-party rights • Use the Service to process content that violates any applicable law or regulation • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or systematically download Service assets • Use automated scripts, bots, or crawlers to abuse the Service • Attempt to circumvent any rate limits or access controls • Use the Service to infringe copyright, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights of third parties We reserve the right to block access to the Service for violations of this Acceptable Use policy.

The PicNexa name, logo, website design, and original content (excluding user-processed images) are the intellectual property of PicNexa and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You retain full ownership of all images you process using PicNexa tools. By using the Service, you grant us no rights to your images — we do not receive, store, or access them. Open-source libraries used within PicNexa (such as FFmpeg.wasm, sharp, rembg models) are subject to their respective licenses.

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available at PicNexa/privacy-policy. Key privacy principle: your images never leave your device. All processing is local and browser-based.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of viruses. We do not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or quality of any output produced by the Service's tools. You use the Service entirely at your own risk. Always maintain backups of your original files before processing.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, PicNexa SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, HOWEVER CAUSED. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months (which, for free users, is zero).

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services. PicNexa has no control over and assumes no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable international law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before any legal proceedings.
